Blackmountains Hospitality was setup 7 years ago by Peter Cooper-Bennett to fill a niche in the marketplace. Peter has worked in the hospitality industry for over 30 years. Living and working between London and Monaco for the late Mr John Mills, Chairman of Les Ambassadeurs Club, London,one of the most exclusive gaming clubs in the world. Peter spent many years in Monaco, looking after the needs of his extinguished private and corporate guests aboard a luxury yacht and traveling extensively world wide with the Mills family.

On returning to the UK, Peter managed a sporting hotel in in the Scottish borders, before returning to Herefordshire to be closer to his family. Peter fell in love with Hay-on-Wye, the world renowned 'Town of Books' and has for many years managed the Swan Hotel in Hay. While there, he felt a unique service was needed, so Blackmountains Hospitality was created to look after the needs of the growing number of discerning travelers and corporate quests coming to Hay.

BMH therefore, can recommend accommodation to suit your requirements, organize private and corporate events. Nothing is impossible to organize, but the impossible may take a little longer. We are hear to ensure your stay is stress free and enjoyable.
